OK.....So im sitting here at work early in the morning drinking my coffee. Im trying to decide if my thumbs are to big or is my phone to small? Mabye its my eyes that cant read this small screen so well. Lol. Does anybody else blog
from their phone? I remember when pong came out way back in the 70s. That was state of the art in video games lol.
Now i can entertain myself playing games with people from all over the world while sitting on my soffa and watching
the games on big screen and hi def. We can sit at home and watch all the latest movies and tv series by the entire season. How easy is life now compared to when I was growing up and actually had to leave the house once in a while?
Lol.....I love the technology but it saddens me to see myself inside much more now than in the past. I have to remind myself that theres MUCH more fun stuff to do outside than there is inside the house. OK OK....some of the indoor
things are kinda fun also....just need to try to keep it even in my opinion.

Perspective
Some may look at this photo and think Wowwww thats beautiful. Others however may view it in another way. Sometimes it may feel like life is crashing down around you with no escape from the daily situations we find ourselves in. We go to work and deal with the stress and problems of that enviroment and sometimes take upon ourselves the weight of those situations as well. Seperating our family life and our work life is extremely important. Do we live to work? Or do we work to live? I choose to work so that I may live a lifestyle that I enjoy. When I leave my place of employment for the day....I leave all its problems behind as well. Sure.....the problems and situations will still be there when I return to work.....but thats where they belong. To me....This photo represents my usual day. Work and all of its daily situations crashing down around me. The light at the end of the tunnel represents the end of my workday.....Thats when the important stuff starts. Family First........cheers

Social Media has changed everything.
As the title says...These last few years have been amazing as far as to what a person can do online. Remember when there was no facebook? I've met so many great people in my life and now I can easily just reach out and contact them whenever I like. We use to send letters and go out and check the mailbox hoping for a response from someone several days later. Now...we simply push a button and PRESTO...our thoughts and feelings are shared with people all around the world. I sit in my comfy office chair....sip my coffee....watch tv....and chat with friends and family as if they were right next to me. We as a people need to be thankful and remember just how good we have it. As bad as it may seem at times..my worst day would actually be someone elses dream life.
My niece just left a couple of days ago to go to Bangladesh for a year. She will be working over there to make a difference in other peoples lives. She promises me that she will keep in touch on Facebook. This world is not so big after all.

What a great weekend for watching sports. I got to watch the Vancouver Canucks beat the Boston Bruins in hockey. Its the only time they meet during the regular season this year and it was kinda a revenge of sorts for the final Sanley Cup game last season. The Denver Broncos beat the Pittsburg Steelers in football also. Never really have cared for the Steelers that much so it was amusing to watch them end their season by losing in overtime. To bad Seattle doesn't have a Pro team that makes it to the playoffs and finds success. Mabye someday....I hope

Whewww
May not look like much but it took me a good while to get this up and going. As Im still learning about all the options available on here it sometimes looks a little overwhelming. Case in point.....I saw this neat little option that can change my dashboard and such over to another language. Naturally I started messing around with it and BAM.....I cant understand a word of what I'm seeing. I think it might have been Frandansklish.....I dont know.......anyway ..it took me forever to figure out how to get it back to something I could understand. I seriously contemplated just starting up another one....Happily I was able to find my way home again. Cheers

Grilled Cheese sandwich and Tomato soup. A simple but great combo on a cold evening. It may be the only dinner food that the entire household actually enjoys. LOL.

Soooo...I just finished watching Sweden defeat Russia in the junior hockey world championship. Swedes get Gold...Russkies get Silver and the Canucks took home the Bronze. I tried to find the game on one of my many channels provided by my cable company. Digital tier....hbo....showtime....expanded channels up the kazoo......cant get the match. I ended up watching a live streaming broadcast on the internet.....with russian dialog. My cable company does have the hockey tier of channels......just not available in my location.. go figure. Thank God im able to get all the great reality tv shows that are soooo popular lol. Oh...and the Lifetime network and Hallmark channel.

The Valley
I live in the Wenatchee valley in Washington state. 300 plus days of sunny weather every year and recreation of every type. In the summer you can do the mountain hiking or find a great body of water to enjoy. The temperature in the summer can be a bit hot so the water sports are quite popular....boating..jetskis...fishing...and of course just working on the tan. Hunting is a favorite pastime of many also.....Deer...Elk....Bear.....all in abundance if you know where to look. Winter sport lovers have many things to choose from....Skiing...Cross Country skiing.....snowmobiling...ice fishing. If you like being outside then this area is awesome year round. We are only a couple of hours away from the large urban area of the Puget Sound......Seattle...Everett...Tacoma. Spokane lies about 3 hours in the other direction. The state is divided down the middle by the Cascade mountain range including Mt Ranier and Mt St Helens as well as Mt Baker to the North. I moved over here about 6 years ago from the busy side of the mountains and i dont have a single regret. The pace of things is alot more relaxed here and you can actually travel at least 60 miles at 60 mph.
